Where is Illinos Lutheran located?
Illinois Lutheran Elementary school is located at 448 Cass Street in Crete, IL. One block south of Exchange Street and one block east of Main Street (Route 1).
Illinois Lutheran High School and Junior High School is located at 1610 Main St. (IL Route 1) in Crete, IL ¾ of a mile south of Exchange Street. The school is behind Zion Lutheran Church. Map <top>

What is FACTS Tuition Management Services?
ILHS has partnered with FACTS Tuition Management Services to handle tuition payment for all students. Families may enroll in the FACTS tuition program when they enroll their student at Illinois Lutheran. How do ILHS test scores compare to other schools?
Most students at ILHS take the ACT during junior or senior year. The ILHS student average is consistently higher than the state and national averages. <top>

Are ILHS graduates accepted at colleges and universities?
Students graduating from ILHS have been accepted at public and private universities all over the USA. University acceptance requirements vary from school to school. Are transfer students accepted at ILHS?
Students transferring from other schools are welcome to apply to
ILHS. The application process includes an application form, interview
with principal and transcript review. This allows us to ensure success
for students transferring from other schools. <top>

Will a gifted student be challenged at ILHS?
ILHS offers a variety of classes to challenge all students. Honors
course are available in areas of English, Calculus, Physics and Spanish. AP tests are offered as an option in several of the honors-level classes. <top>

Are there resources available to the parents to monitor the child’s progress, or just report cards?
PowerSchool, a web-based student information system is used for students at Illinois Lutheran Schools. This system allows parents real-time access to their student’s grades. It is beneficial to parents, teachers, administrators, and to the students who can track their own progress. As soon as any information is added or changed it’s available to students and parents. When teachers enter grades and attendance information for their class, that same data is immediately available. <top> |
